Gerbür was started by a group of German design students in 1997. In the two decades since, it has grown exponentially, and is now one of the world’s largest laminate, SPC and vinyl flooring manufacturers. The company supplies customers in more than 60 countries across Europe, Asia and North America. Gerbür takes pride in offering an exceptional balance of innovative design and functionality.
Gerbür laminate flooring is manufactured from high density fibreboard (HDF). It is made from four layers pressed together under high heat and pressure. The floors offer natural warmth, extreme surface durability, high dimensional stability to prevent expansion and contraction, and a stunning replica of natural hardwood. The core is produced from timber sourced from sustainable forests, guaranteeing an eco-friendly product.
There are five beautiful and cost-effective laminate ranges available. Beethoven is the entry level option, ideal for those on a budget or who require a very thin floor covering. Beethoven PLUS kicks things up a gear with a registered embossed surface to bring the wood effect to life. Handel offers a distressed look, replicating ancient wood flooring techniques with a hand-scraped finish to add unique textures. Verdi features a match registered emboss that perfectly aligns with the wood grain design, and a matt finish to imitate an oiled wood floor. Wagner is an ideal option for customers who want a glossy floor without fussing about maintenance, and has a four-sided bevel to enhance its depth and realism.
Gerbür vinyl flooring showcases state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques to create high-quality, 100% waterproof and easy-to-maintain floors. They are constructed with multiple layers, including a UV layer to protect the floor from fading; a wear layer to prevent scratches and dents; allergen- and VOC-free Virgin PVC; fiberglass to increase dimensional stability; and a PVC backing to dampen noise. The décor layer can realistically replicate a wide range of materials, including wood, stone, concrete and metal.
Gerbür Vinyl Click is installed as a floating floor. It clicks together quickly and easily using the patented Uniclick locking system, without the need for glue or nails. This makes it an ideal option for rental properties, as it can be installed over an existing floor without damage. There are six stunning ranges available. Aqua Click provides a faithful replica of wood without any of the maintenance. Aqua Click Exotic adds rare wood species without any of the environmental concerns, while Aqua Click Stone offers realistic stone, slate and marble aesthetics without the cold surface. Herringbone is a compact 125mm x 625mm plank designed to facilitate the woven herringbone pattern. Vision and Evolution are premium options: Vision is the most durable and finely crafted vinyl around, while Evolution has trendy, ultra-wide dimensions of 230 by 1830mm.
Luxury Vinyl Tiles
Gerbür Luxury Vinyl tiles are glued down to ensure there is no movement. This makes it an ideal option for areas with high pressure and foot traffic, such as foyers or hospitals. There are five beautiful and hardy Luxury Vinyl Tile ranges on offer. Essential is the entry level option, providing an impressive replica of natural wood at a fraction of the cost. Nature provides extra width and an incredibly realistic wood grain surface, while Allure offers a slightly thinner alternative. Art Minerals creates an industrial aesthetic with concrete, stone and metallic looks – and variable tile sizes to suit the design. Art Woven completes the selection with a series of complex, woven looks – ideal for those who like the textile aesthetic but don’t want the fuss of a carpeted surface.
Gerbür Concrete SPC combines an industrial concrete aesthetic with a surface that is warm and quiet underfoot, providing a truly versatile floor. It is a fantastic option for high foot-traffic and water-prone areas – ideal for commercial spaces, kitchens and bathrooms, and pet-owners. The core is made from limestone, resin and stabilisers. It is exceptionally strong, and can withstand impacts, or sustained pressure such as furniture on castors, without denting – as well as being 100% waterproof. The rigid core also absorbs sound, making it a great choice for properties with multiple levels. Gerbür Concrete SPC is available in 10 voguish styles, including dark and edgy Urban, subtle and traditional Limecrete, complex and cloudlike Compact, and rough and ready Exposed Aggregate.
